Globalwooders Group Celebrates A Decade. For Globalwooders Group, the year 2023 marks much more than just a number, the decade celebrations of the foundation of our company. It represents the recognition of ten (10) years of human endeavours in the field of forestry – and a commitment that was ground-breaking in our industry – the desire to manage the forest sustainably, driven by our wish to see this approach placed at the heart of everything we did. 2013 Start in Western Cape, South Africa
It all began with the foundation of a limited partnership called "All Wood Products LTD’ which manufactured and sold butter crates and rotary-cut wooden cheese boxes to the dairy industry in the Western Cape region. Felix Alain Bante headed up the company, of which he was also the main shareholder. The first factory used poplars from East Europe and Local Whitewood. All Wood Products LTD establishes itself as a key supplier to the South African industrial sector by signing a contract to supply FSC®-certified butter crates and rotary-cut wooden cheese boxes.

2016 Expanded its core territory
The company is still based in the Western Cape but has moved its manufacturing activities to rue Gaboon. The firm begins the production of plywood, still using poplar wood. This is our very first new product! In the same vein, ‘All Wood Products LTD’ decided to start producing plywood from Okoume Wood, and Sapelle which are a key Congo Basin tropical hardwood. And then a modification of the name and intention to go global emerges. From this global intention, a solid is developed. Hence Global Wood Trading Company LTD

2018 Merge with privately owned wood service companies
The first crucial step is taken, opening the African chapter of GlobalWooder’s story with the acquisition of the Compagnie Forestière Achito in Gabon, which harvests Okoumé trees. Our second subsidiary outside South Africa is founded and is named ‘Global Timber Supplies’. Our business demonstrates yet again its innovative bent by building Congo's first particle board factory at the industrial estate. A second such factory opened up five years later and a third in 2016, all on the same site.
Global Timber Supplies is merging with private companies that deal with forest products. Private companies offering services such as kiln drying and specialty wood products. -
2020 Partnering With Global Suppliers Across The Globe
Plywood And Veneer Sheets continue to go from strength to strength! Construction and opening of a modern exotic wood plywood panel factory and Rotary Veneer Sheets Production Plant in Cameroon in the East Region. Globawooders Partners also began logging operations in French Guiana, Brazil, and Canada, before building a veneer manufacturing plant in Brazil in 2019. This means we can boost of supplying and exportation of wood from around the globe.

2023 Present
Driving closer to our mission of being a global supplier, Global Wood Supply Upon its merger with Afrikwood, Agrowood has become Africa's leading manufacturer of particle boards, especially in relation to improving fire and water resistance wood products. Global Wood also moves into the top spot in the Congo Basin countries in terms of the production of exotic wood plywood panels, Exotic wood, Veneer sheets, AD and KD Sawn Timber etc. Celebrating a decade of existence, Global Wood is about to start its next chapter. 2024 will speak for itself...
